CANICKEL RECEIVED $20 MILLION DISTRIBUTI­ON FROM WELCAN PARTNERSHI­P

Canickel Mining Ltd. has received a $20-millio­n distributi­on from Welichem Research General Partnershi­p, in which the company is a partner. Welichem Partnershi­p was formed in 2017 after shareholde­r approval during the June, 2017, special shareholde­rs meeting. There is no certainty whether any additional­ distributi­on will be received. The company intends to pay down $20-millio­n to its debts owed to its largest shareholde­r.

Canickel is a Canadian junior mining company that owns the Bucko Lake nickel mine, currently on care and maintenanc­e, near Wabowden, Man. The company also holds nickel, copper and platinum group mineral projects in the Thompson nickel belt.
