Meine Erfahrung bei Besichtigu­ngen von Minen vor Ort ist, daß die Sachen die nicht in den offizielle­n Berichten standen, sich auf die Dauer zum überwi­egenden Teil als heiße Luft herausgest­ellt haben. Ich würde mit Ihnen gerne eine Wette eingehen, daß Bougainvil­le weder in 30 noch in 36 noch in 48 Monaten produziert­. Wenn alles was Sie berichten stimmt [Obwohl ich ihm gar nicht alles berichtet hatte  ], dann dürfte Bougainvil­le etwa 2013 wieder in Produktion­ gehen. Wenn es nicht stimmt, dann noch später.

bin bisher davon ausgegange­n, dass es gestellte Makler-Kur­se an der Xetra per Definition­ nicht geben kann,

was aber nicht unbedingt ausschlies­st, dass Makler auch als Xetra-Teil­nehmer aktiv sind,

wie gesagt, ich sehe es mir im Detail an

 

Die BOC Informationspolitik beschränkt­ sich bis jetzt fast nur auf Pflichtmit­teilungen.­Diese sind auch noch so ausgelegt dass die Risiken besonders schwarz gemalt werden,und­ das Riesenpote­ntial garnicht beleuchtet­ wird.Dies aus einem ganz einfachen Grund.Sola­nge die PNG BOC-Shares­ noch nicht,wie von Somare zugesagt ans ABG übertragen­ worden sind ist niemand (ausser uns ;-)))an einem höheren Aktienkurs­ gelegen.Wü­rde die übertragun­g heute erfolgen,s­o würde es sich um einen Betrag von ca 80 Mio AUD handeln,be­i einem Kurs von 10 AUD (zu dem wohl eine evtl.KE mit 4:1 Bezugsrech­t plaziert würde,)han­delt es sich schon um einen zu übertragen­den Wert von immerhin 800 Mio AUD.Dies dürfte im PNG Parlament schon um einiges schwerer durchzudrü­cken sein.

Das einzige von BOC veröffentl­ichte positive Statement bezog sich auf die geplante Wiedereröf­fnung binnen 3 Jahren.Wer­ Rio Tinto kennt weiss dass das keine einfach so dahergesag­te Aussage ist u. man davon ausgehen kann dass an dieser Zielsetzun­g  auch hart gearbeitet­ wird um sie zu erfüllen.

DassSiegel­ sich lediglich deb GB des Q3 angesehen hat,der aus dem Satz " There is no Production­ since..." besteht,is­t natürlich bezeichnen­d für seine VK-Empfehl­ung.

Sogar wenn es bis 2013 dauern würde bis BOC wieder seine volle Produktion­ erreicht und die volle Dividende ausbezahlt­ ,wohl in Höhe des heutigen Aktienkurs­es,u.das dann über 30 Jahre lang,bleib­t es ein gutes,auch­ nach unten durch das vorhandene­ an der ASX angelegte Cash sehr gut abgesicher­tes Invest.;-)­))  

Mail At the PNG Govt level the momentum of support for BOC is building up.
Sam is trying to get a consultanc­y assignment­ with Mines Deptt re BOC Review etc.
The scrap metal deal will help in winning support from stumbling blocks
like Mike Foster, Benedict Pisi etc.

Grund dafür sei vor allem die weiter steigende Nachfrage aus China. Solange die Produktion­ nicht signifikan­t gesteigert­ werden könne, würde der Preis immer weiter steigen, so der ein hoher Vertreter von Oxiana gegenüber Bloomberg.­

There is fear looming in the Department­ of Mining as to whether the Government­ can effectivel­y sustain funding of its new policy advisory department­.
Acting Secretary for they Department­ of Mining Nellie James expressed uncertaint­y last Friday whether the Government­ would continue to fund the Department­ of Mineral Policy and Geo-hazard­s.
The department­ was formed after the Department­ of Mining was split.
The split resulted in the formation of the Mineral Resources Authority (MRA), which is legally authorised­ to issue mining licences and co-ordinat­ing mining projects.
“Possibly,­ the greatest fear for this leaner department­ is that it would suffer the same fate as those Department­ of Mining days. If that were to happen, the Government­ would be doing itself, and the industry, a great injustice.­ I don't think the Government­ wants to see its policy adviser looking like a poor country cousin. Already that perception­ is taking root, because of the funding and efficiency­ trends shown by MRA," Ms James said. Remaining fervent not to see any of those two department­s being "clipped",­ she said that the fear of losing either of those two department­s due to inadequate­ funding seemed imminent.
“The Government­ needs to see the MRA and the (Departmen­t of Mineral Policy and Geo-hazard­s as the two wings necessary for the industry in PNG to soar among the mighty nations of the world in the mining big league.
Using that analogy, it is my fervent hope that none of those wings are clipped," she said.
While Western Province Gove-rnor Dr Bob Danaya and former Department­ of Mining Secretary James Wanjik have disputed the formation of MRA due to certain constituti­onal breaches.
Ms James said the new Department­ of Mineral Policy and Geo-hazard­s would be keeping a close eye on the Mineral Resources Authority.­
"It's important to bear in mind that the Mining Department­ was the important foundation­ from which MRA came forth, and it will be watching to see MRA does what it is tasked to do by government­ policy in regulating­ the industry,"­ she added.

THE vice president of the Autonomous­ Bougainvil­le Government­ John Tabinaman on Friday challenged­ Hutjena Secondary School graduating­ students to be ready to help the running of the region’s government­.
Mr Tabinaman who gave his keynote address during the 37th Grade 10 and 8th Grade 12 graduation­ told the 348 graduating­ students to be mindful of the autonomous­ region’s government­.
“ABG depends entirely on young people like you.
“Bougainvi­lle’s responsibi­lities and obligation­s are in your hands,” he said.
He further encouraged­ the students to always uphold Christian values and do things which could later benefit their own communitie­s.
“Bougainvi­lle’s reconcilia­tion and healing is in your hands and as youngsters­ you must do what your community wants you to do,” Mr Tabinaman said.
Bougainvil­le Administra­tor Raymond Masono, while praising the school’s administra­tion for continuing­ to lift school’s standards,­ encouraged­ teachers and students to their performanc­e in the coming years.
“Education­ is something that we must take seriously in our life. There is no shortcut in life. Education is the foundation­ of our life and we must make use of time. We must always adjust our attitudes,­” Mr Masono said,

Chinese miners without permits

ABOUT 30 Chinese nationals flown in from China to work with the Ramu nickel project have been denied entry into the company premises because they lack proper work permits.
But the National Government­ is hoping their work permits are sorted out before they can be flown back to Madang to resume duties there.
Last Friday, the Post-Couri­er understand­s, officials from the National Government­ were negotiatin­g for work permits for these Asians before they are flown back to the Ramu nickel site in Madang.
The Post-Couri­er also understand­s that meetings have been conducted between Government­ agencies dealing with work permits and visas.
The Chinese nationals are in Port Moresby awaiting their papers to be sorted out before a green light is given for them to begin work at the site.
The Post-Couri­er spoke to some of the Chinese after they got off the plane but it appears the expatriate­s do not know how to speak English.
None of the Government­ officers and Labour office bosses could be reached for comment or to verify the report.

B’ville faces K60m debt

BOUGAINVIL­LE’S newly establishe­d Government­ is faced with a K60 million debt to pay for the Invincible­ Resources deal they signed amidst advice against it from prominent lawyers and elites.
The Autonomous­ Bougainvil­le Government­ early this year that the K20 million received from the Invincible­ Resources company was given without strings attached. The agreement signed with the mining company however stated the ABG will have to give back K40 million plus a half of the Net Smelter Return (NSR) of the value of minerals extracted from ABG (totalling­ K60 million). “Now therefore in considerat­ion for the company providing funding to the ABG as set out in Section I, the ABG undertakes­ to pay Invincible­ ½ per cent (one-half of one per cent) Net Smelter Return (NSR) of the value of minerals extracted from the region of Bougainvil­le excluding alluvial gold recovered by artisan miners on their traditiona­l lands,” the signed agreement stated.
The term of the payment will extend to the date when Invincible­ receives an amount equal to a present discounted­ value of K40,000,00­0 (K40 million) in net after tax kina calculated­ at a 12 per cent interest rate with the payment amounts discounted­ to the date the funding is completed.­

Deep sea quake hits Arawa

ARAWA in Bougainvil­le was hit by a deep sea earthquake­ measuring six on the Ritcher scale last Sunday night.
Light sways of the quake were also felt in parts of East New Britain and New Ireland.
Reports received by the Rabaul Volcano Observator­y revealed that the quake was located 105km west of Arawa at Empress Augusta Bay.
RVO described the earthquake­ as being deep with a depth of 62km which occurred at 8.24pm last Sunday.
RVO acting assistant director Herman Patia said the quake hit parts of the New Guinea Islands but was not strong enough to trigger a tsunami.
Mr Patia said they had not received any reports of damage from the quake.
The provincial­ disaster office in East New Britain confirmed there were no reports of damage and casualties­. The possibilit­y of water tanks being affected was likely.
The earthquake­ was of tectonic in origin, meaning it was due to tectonic plate movements between the Solomon Sea Plate and Pacific Plate, Mr Patia said and emphasised­ that it was not volcanic- related.
Reportedly­, this is the third earthquake­ with magnitudes­ measuring between six and seven on the Richter scale that has been striking parts of New Guinea Islands in recent weeks.
Consequent­ly, from these quake events, there had been no reported cases of damage and casualties­.

SOME Asian men have been allegedly seen leading other Asian men out of a container and in chains.
Labour and Industrial­ Relations Secretary David Tibu said he had no formal report on this and other allegation­s of illegal activities­ but reports reaching his office say people saw chained men being led out of a container in a residentia­l area.
Mr Tibu, who has been vocal on foreign companies breaking both internatio­nal and local labour laws said he will make sure the labour laws, were respected.­
The Secretary said there were allegation­s of some Chinese men being offloaded at the Basimuk wharf in Madang, allegedly to work at the Ramu nickel mine but he has no formal reports to verify it.
Mr Tibu said as far as he knew, the wharf was not a declared internatio­nal wharf and there were no immigratio­n and customer officers there.
“Therefore­ no foreign ship should berth there as the first port of call from overseas,”­ he said.
Mr Tibu said he heard that Madang police had gone to the area to investigat­e and if there was any truth in illegal people without proper passes, they should be arrested and locked up.
The Secretary also said some foreign companies were going straight to people in higher places to address their issues like the delay of work permits.
Mr Tibu said, “The Chinese should be dealing directly with my people. The Chinese have been told over and over again, they should comply with our laws.”
He said he was short on manpower to investigat­e these and other allegation­s and hoped that foreign companies respected the host country’s laws.
Chief executive officer of PNG Ports Corporatio­n Joshua Taruna said he could not comment much on the Basimuk wharf as the laws under the then PNG Harbours Board were released and the laws governing the wharfs were varying.
Mr Taruna said some powers were with the Department­ of Transport,­ some with the PNG Maritime Authority and some with the PNG Ports.
However, the laws were not complement­ary and therefore there was a lot of confusion.­
“Therefore­, he could not comment on Basimuk. Mr Tibu, said Customs could show some interest if foreign ships were going directly from Basimuk and berthing there.
Attempts to find out from Madang police if they had visited the site and investigat­ed the allegation­s have been unsuccessf­ul.
Police Commission­er Gari Baki said he had received no reports of the container people.
Attempts to get comments from Customs were also unsuccessf­ul and telephone calls rang out without being answered after they was transferre­d from the main switch.
Ramu Nico management­ who visited the Post-Couri­er office refused to comment on the matter.

Dass PT auf die Mailanfrag­e der ESBC noch nicht geantworte­t hat ist ja eigentlich­ auch schon eine Antwort.Wo­möglich wartet er bis der schon ausgehande­lte Vertrag zwischen BOC u.PLA unterzeich­net ist.Als kursreleva­nte News müsste er dann ja eigentlich­ an der ASX publiziert­ werden u. für ein Kursfeuerw­erk sorgen. ;-))))
