CAN 'NEW COAL' KEEP THE NORTH AMERICAN ECONOMY GOING?
Over half of the electrical power created in the United States today is generated from the direct burning of coal. Coal is the United States’ only fossil energy resource abundant enough to be considered a strategic fuel, but to qualify as such, it must be available in a liquid form.
Silverado Green Fuel Inc., in Fairbanks, Alaska is continuing its work to bring to market its low-rank coal-water fuel (LRCWF), a liquid, non-toxic, non-hazardous, strategic fuel. This fuel is made from subbituminous or lignite coal. Following hydrothermal treatment, the upgraded subbituuminous or lignite coal is mixed with water, much of which comes from dewatering the feed coal, to create this new fuel form. This stable liquid fuel is a low cost oil alternative to petroleum derived fuels that can use existing oil infrastructure for handling, storage and transportation.
Silverado’s LRCWF is not a new fuel, but as mentioned above, a new fuel form. By further treatment using processes such as Texaco Gasification and Fischer Tropsch Liquification, several other synfuels and petrochemicals can be created including gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, fertilizer, explosives, plastics, etc.
The Company is in the process of closing on government funding for its demonstration facility. Silverado is also working on closing private funding for a commercial facility. Once the demonstration facility is completed, it will show the economic feasibility and environmental superiority of producing a stable liquid fuel that can be used efficiently in oil-fired boilers. Also it can be used in integrated gasification combined cycle power plants, and other advanced combustors operating at high pressures.
The technical feasibility of producing and utilizing Silverado’s LRCWF produced from ultra-low sulfur Alaska subbituminous coal following hydrothermal treatment has been demonstrated on a pilot-plant scale. This fuel performed excellent in combustion tests giving nearly complete carbon burnout, minimal fouling, and SOX emissions below the most stringent requirements. Process economics suggest that Silverado’s LRCWF can be made from Beluga, Alaska subbituminous coal and shipped to Japan for below $17 per barrel on an oil equivalent energy basis.
Just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska, Silverado Green Fuel Inc., has an idled gold recovery plant on location with nearly half of the equipment necessary for a demonstration plant. Adjacent buildings surrounding the main structure have ample space to accommodate the remaining equipment. Silverado has assembled a team with all the engineering and expertise necessary for commissioning and operating a LRCWF production and boiler test facility. The estimated cost for a three-year production and utilization demonstration of Silverado’s LRCWF is U.S. $20 MM. Silverado’s team capabilities, coupled with the existing Silverado facilities would enable its production plant to come on line much faster and at a fraction of the cost of a new plant built anywhere else in North America. Silverado is working closely with State and Federal Legislators to complete this funding.
The cost for Silverado’s Green Fuel to be produced in Wyoming or Montana using coal from the Powder River Basin, would be about 25% less than Silverado’s LRCWF produced in Alaska which could supply a low-cost, non-hazardous oil substitute to the industrial Gulf States via rail and pipelines.

brauch ich kein charttechniker sein, um zu sehen, daß in usa der trend nach oben geht - ist dort schön oberhalb der 0,055 mit richtung 0,06-widerstand.

wie bereits gesagt-
charttechnik verliert,sobald genaueres zwecks fördergelder bkannt wird, völlig an bedeutung.diese förderungen würden je nach höhe in ein neues chart-jahrzehnt führen.da haben bisherige widerstände keine bedeutung mehr.
und ich hoffe stark,dass man in dieser richtung bald mal was hören wird.

denke ich auch,
vor Weihnachten kommen keine News mehr und wenn überhaupt dann sind es gelb gefärbte News aber das ist reine Spekulation. Ich bleibe ganz ganz enspannt und kaufe ab und an, ganz nach Gemüts- und Finanzlage nach. Ich bin mir absolut sicher das ich mein Geld in 12MOnaten mit ein paar hundert Prozent verzinst bekomme obwohl das ist eh nur theorethisch weil ich nicht vorhabe Aktien zu verkaufen.

An important coal-related amendment was included in legislation during the final days of the 109th Congress’ first session, which ends imminently. Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia offered an amendment to the Defense Authorization Bill which requires that a study be done on the benefits of converting coal to liquid fuels by the Department of Defense.
The Byrd amendment is a clear demonstration that the United States Government is continuing to seek alternative sources of fuel, and that the Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel coal conversion process of Silverado Green Fuel Inc. will be a vital part of the solution to the current energy needs.
“I was very happy to learn that the amendment offered by Senator Byrd was included in the House – Senate Conference Report on Defense Authorization this week. It is a forward-looking amendment that recognizes the need to involve coal-to-liquids as part of the solution to the national energy security. We have been making tremendous headway in educating Members of Congress about the Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel project, and this amendment is just one of the early fruits of our labor,” commented Silverado Green Fuel Inc. Chairman and CEO Garry Anselmo. “Earlier this year both the U.S. House and Senate recognized Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel in the massive Energy Bill, which specifically authorized funding for LRCWF projects. Following passage of the first Energy bill this past July, the House continued its strong support for the development of Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel with the passage of “Energy II” which included the definition of a refinery as " ...a facility designed and operated to receive, load, unload, store, transport, process and refine coal by any chemical or physical process, including liquefaction, in order to produce ...liquid fuel as its primary output..."

Mit 107 Aktien mal eben den Kurs niedrig halten oder hin und her 57, 58, 56, 54, 55, alles
völlig egal. Es wird kommen, wie es kommt und ich sitze auf meinen Aktien. Geschlafen wird nur mit einem Auge. Die kriegt keiner und die Dinge nehmen ihren Lauf ;))

Der Goldpreis ist gestern deutlich gestiegen. Dagegen gingen die Kurse der Futures für Öl der Sorten Light Crude (leichtes US-Öl) und Heating Oil sowie für die führende Nordsee-Sorte Brend Crude im New Yorker Terminhandel (NYMEX) zurück.
Hintergrund des Ölpreisrückgangs sind nachlassende Versorgungsängste. Zum einen sind die Vorratslager auskömmlich gefüllt, zum anderen prognostizieren die Wetterämter für den Mittleren Westen der USA steigende Temperaturen, was auf die Nachfrage nach Heizöl drücken dürfte.
Mittel- und langfristig besteht die Möglichkeit steigender Preise, da der Ölbedarf in den kommenden Jahren rasant wachsen wird. Neue Märkte wie China verursachen eine zusätzliche Verknappung des Ölangebots. China benötigt für sein beeindruckendes Wirtschaftswachstum viel Öl. Zudem wächst im Reich der Mitte der Autoabsatz beträchtlich und dementsprechend auch der Benzinbedarf. Durch seinen Bedarf ist das Reich der Mitte, die mittlerweile sechstgrößte Wirtschaft der Erde, zum weltweit zweitgrößten Ölverbraucher mit rund 6,2 Millionen Barrel pro Tag in 2004 aufgestiegen.
Der Kurs des Euro stieg bisher um 0,06 Prozent auf nun 1,1877 Dollar. Die europäische Gemeinschaftswährung liegt damit leicht unter ihrem Kurs bei der Einführung der am 4. Januar 1999 von 1,1886 Dollar. Ein schwächerer Dollar macht das in US-Dollar angeschriebene Gold und Öl für Anleger aus anderen Währungsräumen billiger und damit attraktiver.

This one goes by the name of Silverado Green Fuel, Inc. and you can buy it today for four cents on the OTCBB as SLGLF. I own 100,000 shares that I picked up at a fire sale a couple of months back for two cents a share. After you read what I’ve got to say about SILVERADO – go to their investor relations department at 1 (800) 665 4646 – ask questions and request an investor’s packet. Their web-site is www.silverado.com. This one looks good to me but – please don’t invest your hard earned until all of your questions have been answered.
While the development of various alternative energy sources has been gaining momentum for the past few years, problems caused by serious disruptions in the flow of oil and gas really hit home in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. It was bad enough with oil topping US $70 a barrel, then Katrina struck the Gulf States – which supply about one-quarter of North American petroleum supplies – and almost overnight, millions of North Americans were faced with markedly higher gasoline prices and out-right shortages in some areas. Energy shocks like these on a wide scale will no doubt heighten interest in viable alternative energy projects that have potential to lesson dependence on conventional petroleum sources.
Silverado Green Fuel, Inc. (a subsidiary of Silverado Gold mines Ltd.) has been developing a low-rank coal-water fuel that shows the promise of providing a significant energy source with several widespread applications, in particular, the generation of electricity and industrial heat, replacing heavy oil as a fuel source. The company’s alternative fuel operations are located in Fairbanks, Alaska where it also produces gold from the Nolan placer mine. Part of Silverado’s assets include the mothballed Grant gold mill that it hopes can be retrofitted to produce the new green fuel.
Known as hydrothermal treatment, or hot water drying, Silverado’s process heats the low-rank, or sub-bituminous, coal in an “aqueous phase” at about 1,500 psi and 285 degrees centigrade. The procedure is similar to pressure cooking on your kitchen stove. Without going into scientific details (which I’d only make a mess out of anyway) basically, the process provides a net increase in the energy content of the dry, low-rank coal. For the chemistry-inclined, the hot water drying treatment is fully explained on Silverado’s web site: www.silverado.com.
With the final product a liquid, the non-hazardous, non-toxic, easily transportable “quasi liquid” has no dust problems or the potential problem of spontaneous combustion. Research by Silverado has shown that its process is able to produce what it calls Green Fuel, for less that the cost of using conventional oil sources – US $9 to 14 per barrel of oil equivalent. In addition, the Green Fuel can be treated by gasification and other conventional processes to make higher-grade fuel and petrochemicals that burn cleaner than their counterparts and are competitively priced.
Mr. Garry Anselmo, Chairman & CEO, says that at the present time, Silverado is discussing financing options to commercially develop the Green Fuel. Meanwhile, Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski recently announced an energy bill, naming Silverado and others that would provide financial assistance to alternative energy projects. The company is continuing to work with the US government to receive an appropriation for a demonstration project.
I believe that this little company is onto something very worthwhile at exactly the right time in history and your chance is now at hand to get in on the ground floor. This is what I would like you to do. First research their web site and then get on the phone and talk to Silverado’s public relations specialist, Mr. Bob Dynes. Ich grüsse Euch. Gib Ihnen noch Zeit. Die Zeit zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr ist ein schlechter Zeitpunkt um auf solche News zu warten. Ist doch egal ob Du heute oder in 8 Wochen 150% machst. Klar es sieht im Depot schöner aus aber das kann schnel gehen, wie wir wissen. So lange keiner von Euch die Schlagzeile "Grenn-Fuel brennt DOCH nicht !" liest stimmt die Story und es kommt, wie es kommt. Jeder Cent der die Aktie am 01.01.06 tiefer steht lässt den Chart am 31.12.2006 besser aussehen.

denn passieren wird etwas....entweder fliesen die subventionen,oder
silverado wird dicht machen müssen....oder sie finden im winter ein wenig gold....
ich glaube jedenfalls,das es ein gutes jahr für uns werden wird....und da sind
150% noch gar nichts....den wenn erst mal geld fliest,wird die story zu ende geschrieben werden.
und das bedeutet mind. 0,2 jedoch eher 0,5....und wenns richtig läuft....ade penny-stocks....
also allen ein gutes neues...
