A $1000 investment made in March 2012 would be worth $4,088.39, or a gain of 308.84%, as of March 16, 2022, according to our calculations. This return excludes dividends but includes price appreciation.
In comparison, the S&P 500 gained 203.90% and the price of gold went up 10.91% over the same time frame.

OXY warrants
Was gibt es daran einzuschätzen?

What Berkshire has to say about Berkshire
Here is what Berkshire Hathaway has to say about Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK-B) in its Q4 2021 investor letter:
To the Shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.:
Charlie Munger, my long-time partner, and I have the job of managing a portion of your savings. We are honored by your trust.
Our position carries with it the responsibility to report to you what we would like to know if we were the absentee owner and you were the manager. We enjoy communicating directly with you through this annual letter, and through the annual meeting as well.
Our policy is to treat all shareholders equally. Therefore, we do not hold discussions with analysts nor large institutions. Whenever possible, also, we release important communications on Saturday mornings in order to maximize the time for shareholders and the media to absorb the news before markets open on Monday.
A wealth of Berkshire facts and figures are set forth in the annual 10-K that the company regularly files with the S.E.C. and that we reproduce on pages K-1 – K-119. Some shareholders will find this detail engrossing; others will simply prefer to learn what Charlie and I believe is new or interesting at Berkshire.
Alas, there was little action of that sort in 2021. We did, though, make reasonable progress in increasing the intrinsic value of your shares. That task has been my primary duty for 57 years. And it will continue to be.

Das sehe ich ähnlich
In its Q1 2021 investor letter, Vltava Fund, an asset management firm, highlighted a few stocks and Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK-A) was one of them. Here is what the fund said:
“Despite the considerable rise in stock markets over the past year, there are still many attractive opportunities. Human nature also is playing a bit into our hands. Investor crowds often chase popular stocks, hot IPOs, or mysterious SPACs and completely leave aside stocks they consider boring and not sexy enough. A typical example of this category is our long-term largest position in Berkshire Hathaway. Since we bought it for the first time, its price has nearly quadrupled and yet it remains just as undervalued today as it was at that time. Considering the current rate at which it is buying back its own shares and the amount of cash that Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK-A) has, my greatest wish as a shareholder is for the company’s share price to remain as low as possible for as long as possible.”

Berkshire Hathaway Takes 11% Stake in HP
Thu, April 7, 2022, 5:51 PM
Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK.A, BRK.B) has taken an 11% stake in tech hardware maker HP Inc. (HPQ), according to SEC Form 4 filings. Through April 6, 2022, Berkshire had acquired nearly 121 million shares of HP, which were worth about $4.2 billion as of the close on that date. It is unclear whether Berkshire CEO Warren Buffett initiated the decision to invest in HP or if it was executed by one of his two portfolio managers, Todd Combs and Ted Weschler.
