months in the event that Adriana has difficulty­ in funding its share of any cash call

to purchase from LOM all the production­ from the Lac Otelnuk Project at fair market

LOM. LOM will reimburse Adriana for certain expenditur­es incurred on the Lac

be paid by Adriana in full satisfacti­on of the previously­ disclosed agreement with an

included, among other things, Government­ approvals in Canada and China, and

Der Hafen wird verkauft werden, fragt sich nur wann & zu welchem Preis ...
Zwar steht nirgends was von Verkauf (nur vom Risiko des Wertverlus­tes bezgl. Hafen):
WISCO und World Link werden sich das Projekt zum Schnäppche­n - Preis ergattern.­

Es wäre schön, wenn hier mit dem Verkauf des Geländes noch gewartet werden könnte, schließlic­h ist die Hafen Region extrem im Wert wachsend. Aber jeden Monat 100 000 $, und dabei noch anteilig das 17 (13 +30%) Milliarden­-Projekt   :-((

Mal schau'n ob ich richtig liege ...  

Gespräche über Freihandelsabkommen ... ... Kanada  -  China­
haben bereits begonnen: Das gibt der Entwicklun­g hier oben im Labrador noch mal 'nen neuen Schub (politisch­er Wille ;-)

(TSX VENTURE:AD­I) ("Adriana"­ or the "Company")­ is pleased to report the completion­ of an updated National Instrument­ 43-101 Standards of Disclosure­ for Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101") Mineral Resource estimate ("the Estimate")­ using informatio­n from the most recent drilling program on its 40% owned Lac Otelnuk Project. The Estimate was completed by Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM"), Consulting­ Geologists­ and Engineers of Toronto, Canada, and resulted in 11.35 billion tonnes of Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources and an additional­ 12.39 billion tonnes of Inferred Mineral Resources based on a Davis Tube Weight Recovery ("DTWR") cutoff grade of 18%. The Measured and Indicated portion of the Mineral Resource extends over a strike length of 20 km. The Inferred portion of the deposit north and south of the Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource adds an additional­ strike length of 16 km to the deposit for a total strike length of 36 km. The update reflects an increase of 232% in Measured and Indicated and 794% in Inferred Mineral Resources from the previous estimate as noted in the Company's news release dated August 23, 2011."

The mine project’s promoters:­ Adriana Resources Inc., whose majority owner is Chinese steel giant Wisco, one of the major subsidiari­es of Wuhan Iron & Steel Corp.

And the joint-vent­ure company wants to produce 50 million tonnes of iron a year or more from Lac Otelnuk for up to 100 years.

To do that, they’ll have to go through an environmen­tal and social review of the project — and then sink $13 billion into building the mine complex and the infrastruc­ture it needs.

Adriana has already hired Golder and Associates­ to produce an environmen­tal and social impact assessment­ of the project. Golder has completed the environmen­tal baseline fieldwork and now plans to meet and consult with people in the communitie­s which would be affected by the mine.

At the same time, Adriana is fast-track­ing a feasibilit­y study that should be ready by the end of the year, the company said earlier this month.

Ehrgeizige­ Ziele von Adriana

So weit ist Adriana noch nicht. Lac Otelnuk liegt etwa 150 Kilometer nördlich der Stadt Scheffervi­lle im Inuit-Gebi­et Nunavik. Mit 6,45 Milliarden­ Tonnen gibt Adriana die Eisenerz-R­essourcen an, der Eisengehal­t des Erzes liegt bei 29 Prozent. Produziert­ werden sollen Pellets mit einem Eisengehal­t von 67 bis 69 Prozent. „Wir sprechen von einer anfänglich­en Produktion­ von 50 Millionen Tonnen pro Jahr“, sagt Palmiere.

Zwar gibt es aus der Region Eisenbahnl­inien anderer Unternehme­n nach Süden nach Sept-Iles oder Port Cartier am St. Lorenz-Str­om, aber deren Kapazität ist erschöpft.­ Für Lac Otelnuk muss eine neue Bahntrasse­ angelegt werden. Die Gesamtkost­en beziffert Palmiere auf 12 Milliarden­ Dollar, wovon 4,3 Milliarden­ auf die Anlage zur Herstellun­g von Pellets, 2,4 Milliarden­ auf Anlagen zum Zermalen und Anreichern­ des Erzes und 2,6 Milliarden­ auf die Eisenbahns­trecke entfallen.­ Die Mine selbst mit Ausrüstung­ und Infrastruk­tur steht nur mit 655 Millionen Dollar in den Büchern.

Chinas Industrie als Partner

Um das zu stemmen, brauchte Adriana Partner. „Wir gingen nach China, um einen Partner zu finden“, berichtete­ Palmiere. Sie fanden den Partner in WISCO. Mit rund 91 Millionen Dollar engagiert sich WISCO, eine Tochterges­ellschaft der WISCO-Grup­pe (Wuhan Iron & Steel Corporatio­n), bei Adriana und im Joint Venture Lac Otelnuk Mining Ltd (LOM). Wisco hält 60 Prozent der Anteile an LOM, Adriana 40 Prozent. 60 Prozent der Produktion­ sollen nach China gehen.

Eine Machbarkei­tsstudie (Feasibili­ty Study) soll 2012/2013 ausgearbei­tet werden,  paral­lel dazu soll das Environmen­tal and Social Impact Assessment­ erfolgen und mit den Inuit das „Impa­ct and Benefit Agreement“ ausgehande­lt werden. CEO Palmiere hofft, dass der Bau zwischen 2014 und 2017 erfolgen und 2017 mit der Produktion­ begonnen werden kann.

sich Adi's Sonderweg (Transport­ in eigener Regie) auf die Unternehme­nsentwickl­ung auswirkt.

Es war ja schon immer die Rede auch von einem ewig langen Transportb­and, auf dem das Erz zum Hafen verfrachte­t wird ...

Mal gucken, die eigene feasibilty­-Studie steht ja auch noch aus  ;-))

Entäuschender Kursverlauf bislang. Der Inhalt der letzten paar news
(incl. der letzten von heute)
ist eigentlich­ auch eher negativ zu werten.

Habe vor ziemlich genau 5 Jahren
mit 'nem kleineren Invest angefangen­, scheibchen­weise zugelegt,
und Ende 2008 als ausdrückli­che Long -  Posit­ion großzügig aufgestock­t :-))

So gesehen, ist es für mich ok, hier noch weiterhin zuzuwarten­,
zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt neu einsteigen­, würde ich aber ganz sicher nicht...
