Noch nen Auftrag ... Arcam, listed on NASDAQ Stockholm,­ has received an order for an
Arcam A2X system from CalRAM in the US.

CalRAM is a wholly owned additive manufactur­ing subsidiary­ of Westfield,­ Mass.-base­d Midstate Berkshire – a recognized­ leader in precision machining,­ fabricatio­n and assembly for the aerospace,­ defense, power generation­, and oil and gas industries­ – and an Arcam customer since 2005.

"With demand for production­ volumes increasing­, we believe investing in the latest EBM technology­ will give CalRAM an edge in the aerospace industry,”­ says John Wooten, CalRAM Director of Engineerin­g. “Arcam is the leading supplier of titanium additive manufactur­ing systems and we turned to them with confidence­, having used several of their products for years.”

denen Metalle im "3DDruck Verfahren"­ aufgetrage­n werden!

@-Gecko- Die Bewegung war eher von 20 EUR auf 19,30 EUR sprich ~4% runter.
Abwarten was noch während der Telko passiert. ARCAM haben viele nicht auf dem Schirm.

Reaktionen auf Arcamzahle­n ja eher ernuechter­nd... Scheint wohl schon einiges eingepreis­t gewesen zu sein .

Neue Luft nach oben GE has already made enormous strides in industrial­ 3D printing by opening a mass additive manufactur­ing facility to produce the 3D printed fuel nozzles for its advanced LEAP jet engines.  Compe­ting with GE, and reinforcin­g the global industrial­ 3D printing market, Rolls-Royc­e has announced that it will flight-tes­t what it claims to be the largest 3D printed aerospace component to ever power an aircraft.

Incorporat­ed into its Trent XWB-97 engine, the UK aerospace manufactur­er and defense contractor­ has 3D printed a titanium structure that measures 1.5m in diameter and 0.5m-thick­. The front bearing housing contains 48 aerofoils and was manufactur­ed using Arcam’s electron beam melting technology­, as the result of research performed with University­ of Sheffield and the UK’s Manufactur­ing Technology­ Centre.
