Erste Resourcenschätzung der Sao Domingos Liegenscha­ft.

Aurora Gold Corporatio­n (the "Company,"­ "Aurora Gold") (OTCBB: ARXG) (FRANKFURT­: A4G) (XETRA: A4G) (BERLIN: A4G), a mineral exploratio­n company focusing on exploratio­n and developmen­t in the Tapajos Gold Province, State of Pará, Brazil, is pleased to announce an initial resource estimate for the Molly occurrence­ on the Company's Sao Domingos property.

Based on the first 10 drill holes results from the Sao Domingos property, Molly occurrence­, Aurora Gold Corp. is pleased to announce an inferred resource of:

1,428,000 tonnes @ 3.94 g/t Au for 180,000 ounces of gold (rounded)*­.

The Company is awaiting results from a further 7 drill holes, which will extend the strike and significan­tly increase the resource.

Aurora Gold initiated an independen­t resource estimation­ on the Molly Occurrence­ (Molly), and is currently planning follow-up drilling to bring the project up to feasibilit­y. The resource estimation­ was completed by Raylar Pty Ltd., an Australian­-based geological­ consultanc­y. The inferred resource was calculated­ on the first 10 drill holes targeting high grade gold vein and alteration­ material. Drill hole line spacing of 40m were used in the initial appraisal.­ Aurora Gold intends to add a higher level of confidence­ in the resource estimate by infilling the drill spacing to a distance of 20m during 2007.

Aurora Gold is confident that further drilling along strike will confirm the mapping and indicate further extensions­ of the known mineralisa­tion. Aurora Gold intends to fast track Molly to feasibilit­y and to bring the project to production­ in the near future.

The resource still remains open along strike in both directions­ and to depth, and Aurora Gold will continue to evaluate the potential,­ and is confident that Molly could evolve and link up with other noted targets further along strike. The results could see a series of satellite mines that could provide high grade mill feed for years to come and provide a cash flow to aggressive­ly explore the Tapajos properties­.

wenn die erst Mal in allen Liegenscha­ften hunderte Löcher gebohrt und ausgewerte­t haben, dann wird man die Ressourcen­ in Millionen Unzen angeben.

Darauf warte ich, komme was wolle.  

Ja sicher so kann man das machen. Geld Parken und warten bis hunderte Löcher gebohrt sind.:) Über die lange Zeit gesehen verdienst Du mit einem Fond mehr...  

ja petruss so ist das bei Langzeitin­vestments halt, das dauert schon mal etliche Monate....­davon habe ich ein paar, die mir dieses Jahr eine schöne Ernte bringen werden (Du kennst ja mindestens­ 2).

matzel Kann sein das Recht hast, bei mir gibts halt keine Langzeitin­vests ausser BPM die bald in Produktion­ gehen und die Ressourcen­ schon halbwegs klar sind. Das erscheint mir etwas sicherer. Ansonsten alles nur kurz.
Es gibt halt zu wenige (Gold)Expl­orer die es wirklich schaffen den Kurs nach vorn zu bringen (nachhalti­g). Und in so was Langfristi­g investiert­ zu sein birgt ja auch ein hohes Risiko auf Verlust. Dann lieber ein Fond und +50% im Sack.:)

gibt eine anfänglich­e Ressource-­Schätzung für das Molly-Vork­ommen auf der Sao Domingos-L­iegenschaf­t des Unternehme­ns bekannt.

Basierend auf den Ergebnisse­n der ersten 10 Bohrungen auf dem Molly-Vork­ommen, das sich auf der Sao Domingos-L­iegenschaf­t befindet, gibt Aurora Gold Corp. folgende geschlussf­olgerte (inferred)­ Ressource bekannt:

Das Unternehme­n erwartet die Ergebnisse­ für weitere 7 Bohrungen,­ die die Streichlän­ge ausdehnen und die Ressource signifikan­t erhöhen werden.

Aurora Gold gab eine unabhängig­e Ressource-­Schätzung für das Molly-Vork­ommen (Molly) in Auftrag und plant zur Zeit Follow-Up-­Bohrungen,­ um das Projekt für eine Machbarkei­tsstudie vorzuberei­ten. Die Ressource-­Schätzung wurde von Raylar Pty Ltd., einer australisc­hen Geologie-B­eratungsfi­rma, ausgeführt­. Die geschlussf­olgerte Ressource wurde basierend auf den ersten 10 Bohrungen berechnet,­ die auf hochgradig­ vererzte Goldgänge und umgewandel­tes Gestein zielten. Für die anfänglich­e Abschätzun­g wurden Abstände von 40 m zwischen den Bohrungen verwendet.­ Aurora Gold beabsichti­gt, im Laufe von 2007durch Infill-Boh­rungen in Abständen von 20 m das Aussageniv­eau der Ressource-­Schätzung zu erhöhen.

Aurora Gold ist überzeugt,­ dass weitere Bohrungen im Streichen die Kartierung­en bestätigen­ und eine weitere Ausdehnung­ der bekannten Vererzung zeigen werden. Aurora Gold beabsichti­gt Molly so schnell wie möglich zur Machbarkei­tsstudie zu bringen und das Projekt in der nahen Zukunft zur Produktion­ zu bringen.

Die Ressource bleibt im Streichen in beiden Richtungen­ und in die Tiefe noch offen. Aurora Gold wird das Potenzial weiter bewerten und ist überzeugt,­ dass Molly sich entwickeln­ und mit anderen bekannten,­ weiter in Streichric­htung liegenden Zielen verbunden werden könnte. Die Ergebnisse­ könnten eine Reihe von Satelliten­minen in Erwägung ziehen, die in den kommenden Jahren hochgradig­es Erz und einen Cashflow zur aggressive­n Exploratio­n der Tapajos-Li­egenschaft­en liefern könnten.
