Bravo Gold Corp. (BVG.V) reported today that mineralization above a 3g/t gold equivalent cut-off is successfully being extended in multiple horizons at the Homestake Silver deposit on its 100 percent owned Homestake Ridge Project located in NW British Columbia.
The company provided results on a further 10 drill holes from the 2010 exploration program, including HR10-198, which returned a 0.6 metre interval averaging 56.3g/t gold and 48.3g/t silver within a broader 9.6 metre interval averaging 5.9g/t gold and 6.0g/t silver. Drill hole HR10-198, together with holes HR10-197 and HR10-192, define coherent gold-enriched mineralized horizons in the upper volcanic stratigraphy that extend the Homestake Silver deposit an additional 200 metres along strike and to the northwest of the 2009 drill-defined limits. Assays are pending for 14 holes that offset this mineralization, which could further expand the potential resources of this deposit.

Drilling in the Fox Reef and Vanguard Copper zones returned thick intervals (>100 metres) of strongly anomalous gold (>0.1ppm), copper and pathfinder elements such as Mo and Bi, which may indicate proximity to large intrusion-related mineral systems, which remain viable targets for future exploration on the property.
Bravo has now completed the 2010 drilling program at the Homestake Ridge Project and crews are in the process of de-mobilization. A total of 48 core holes have been drilled on the property for approximately 17,924 metres during this year’s program. Assays from 20 of these drill holes are pending. Twenty-six drill holes totaling 11,972 metres tested the Homestake Silver deposit while twenty-two drill holes totaling 5952 metres were completed in six other targets on the property.
An updated long section of the 2010 drill plan and a full compilation of the 2010 assay summaries are available on Bravo’s website at bravogoldcorp.com.

Bravo Gold Corp (BVG.V) reported today that it continues to extend mineralization at the Homestake Silver deposit, located on its 100 percent owned Homestake Ridge Project in NW British Columbia.
The company provided results on an additional four drill holes from the 2010 exploration program, including HR10-199, which returned a 45.5 metre interval averaging 2.1g/t gold and 16.5g/t silver, including a 2.1 metre interval averaging 7.9g/t gold with 52.8g/t silver and a 4.4 metre interval averaging 3.4g/t gold with 38.5g/t silver. Hole HR10-199 was cored 60 metres up-section from high-grade mineralization in drill hole HR09-165 (24 metres grading 12.1g/t gold) and effectively fills a gap in the deposit outlined by the 2009 drilling. All intervals are reported as estimated true thickness.
High-grade gold-silver mineralization from drill hole HR10-203 includes a 2.5 metre interval of 0.9g/t gold and 484.9/gt silver, which extends up-dip from mineralization first reported in drill hole HR10-198 (9.6m grading 5.9g/t gold and 6.0g/t silver) and continues to define coherent gold and silver enriched mineralization in the upper volcanic stratigraphy.
Bravo also reported that hole HR10-200 from the Fox Reef zone has returned narrow, but high-grade and silver-enriched, copper-lead-zinc mineralization including 0.7 metres (down hole thickness) averaging 0.7g/t gold, 64.4g/t silver, 1.9% copper, 12.5% zinc and 5.3% lead, which extends mineralization an additional 70 metres down-dip and along strike to the northwest from hole HR10-183 in this newly discovered zone of mineralization.
Assays are pending for 11 holes that offset mineralization and could further expand the mineral resources of the Homestake Silver deposit and the Fox Reef zone.
Bravo has now completed the 2010 drilling program at the Homestake Ridge Project. All drill core from the 2010 program has been moved to warehouse facilities in Prince Rupert, where logging and sampling of the remaining drill holes continues. A total of 48 core holes have been drilled on the property for approximately 17,924 metres during this year’s program. Assays from 15 of these drill holes are pending. Twenty-six drill holes totaling 11,972 metres tested the Homestake Silver deposit while twenty-two drill holes totaling 5,952 metres were completed in six other targets on the property.

@reality: 13.000shs sind nicht schlecht. habe mir mittlerweile auch #ne gut position aufgebaut, ist jedoch ein bissel mehr :)) der kurs könnte sich so langsam mal wieder am goldpreis orientieren, gerade auch weil es gute news vom homestake vorkommen gibt!! tststs... *kopfschüttel* naja vielleicht erleben wir hier noch irgendwann eine überraschung und können uns über ein fettes weihnachtsgeschenk freuen, wer weiss.

November 2010 - Bravo Gold Corp (BVG.V) berichtete heute, dass es mit der Erweiterung der Mineralisierung auf dem Homestake Silber Vorkommen, welches auf dem sich in 100%igem Eigenbesitz befindlichen Homestake Ridge Project in NW British Columbia liegt, fortfährt. Das Unternehmen gab Ergebnisse von zusätzlichen vier Bohrlöchern aus dem 2010 Explorationsprogramm bekannt, inklusive HR10-199, welches einen 45,5 Meter Abschnitt mit durchschnittlich 2,1g/t Gold und 16,5g/t Silber inklusive eines 2,1 Meter Abschnittes mit durchschnittlich 7,9g/t Gold und 52,8g/t Silber und eines 4,4 Meter Abschnittes mit durchschnittlich 3,4g/t Gold und 38.5g/t Silber, ergab. Loch HR10-199 wurde 60 Meter oberhalb des hoch mineralisierten Abschnittes in Bohrloch HR09-165 (24 Meter mit durchschnittlich 12,1g/t Gold) gekernt und füllt effektiv eine Lücke im Vorkommen, die durch die Bohrung in 2009 beschrieben wurde. Alle Abschnitte werden als geschätzte wahre Dicke berichtet. Die hochgradige Silbermineralisierung aus Bohrloch HR10-203 beinhaltet einen 2,5 Meter Abschnitt mit 0,9g/t Gold und 484,9g/t Silber, welcher sich oberhalb der Mineralisierung, die als erstes in Bohrloch HR10-198 (9,6m mit durchschnittlich 5,9g/t Gold und 6,0g/t Silber) berichtet wurde, ausdehnt und definiert weiterhin verbundene gold- und silberangereicherte Mineralisierungen in der oberen vulkanischen Stratigraphie. Bravo berichtet außerdem, dass Loch HR10-200 aus der Fox Reef Zone eine schmale, aber hochgradige und silberangereicherte Kupfer-Blei-Zink-Mineralisierung hervorbrachte, inklusive 0,7 Meter (Dicke im Bohrloch) mit durchschnittlich 0,7g/t Gold, 64,4g/t Silber, 1,9% Kupfer, 12,5% Zink und 5,3% Blei, welche die Mineralisierung um zusätzliche 70 Meter nach unten und in Streichrichtung nach Nordwesten von Loch HR10-183 in dieser neu entdeckten Mineralisierungszone ausweitet. Es stehen Untersuchungen für 11 Löcher aus, die die Mineralisierung bestätigen und die Mineralressourcen auf dem Homestake Ridge Silber Vorkommen und der Fox Reef Zone weiterhin erweitern könnten. Bravo hat das Bohrprogramm für 2010 auf dem Homestake Ridge Projekt nun fertiggestellt. Alle Bohrkerne aus dem Programm aus 2010 wurden zu Lagereinrichtungen in Prince Rupert gebracht, wo die Erfassung und Probenentnahme der verbleibenden Bohrlöcher weitergeht. Im Ganzen wurden während des diesjährigen Programms 48 Kernlöcher auf der Liegenschaft für schätzungsweise 17.924 Meter gebohrt. Die Prüfung von 15 dieser Bohrlöcher steht noch aus. Es wurden 26 Bohrlöcher mit insgesamt 11.972 Metern auf dem Homestake Silber Vorkommen getestet und 22 Bohrlöcher mit insgesamt 5.952 Metern auf sechs anderen Zielen auf der Liegenschaft fertiggestellt.
