APOGEE SILVER LTD die Silber-Chance Nach der Namensände­rung anbei ein neuer Thread zum Austausch von Informatio­nen.
Aktuell steht die Aktie nach einem Rücksetzer­ bei 0,28$. Diese sollten auch als Unterstütz­ungszone gelten, da vor geraumer Zeit eine fette 20MIO $ Finanzieru­ng zum Share-Prei­s von 0,28$ abgeschlos­sen wurde.

Die Ergebnisse­ sind Top und vonhier als Basis sollte es auch aufgrund des dramatisch­ gestiegene­n Silberprei­ses der aktuell bei 42$ liegt in ganz andere Sphären starten...­

Auf jeden Fall ist der Titel ein Long-Posi wert.

beruhigende News

nachdem es gestern zu einem Kursrutsch­ aufgrund Unsicherhe­iten nach politische­n Aussagen kam, hier die beruhigend­e Stellungna­hme von APE:

Apogee  Silve­r Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:AP­E) ("Apogee" or the "Company")­ wishes to  respo­nd to recent reports that, subject to union demands, certain  silve­r, zinc, lead and tin mines currently operated by foreign companies  may be "recovered­" by the Bolivian state. A spokesman for COMIBOL, the  Corp.­ Minera de Bolivia, was quoted as saying the government­ may issue a  decre­e on May 1, 2011 in this regard.

Apogee understand­s that  sever­al unions operating at foreign controlled­ mines have communicat­ed  with the government­ that they oppose any "recovery"­ of such mines by the  gover­nment. Apogee believes that remunerati­on and employment­ standards  are generally high at these operations­.

The Pulacayo mine, in the  Potos­i region of southwest Bolivia, is Apogee's principal asset. Apogee  and the Pulacayo Mining Cooperativ­e (which is part of FENCOMIN, the  natio­nal federation­ of mining cooperativ­es) jointly hold a renewable  lease­ until 2025 of the concession­s from COMIBOL, which relationsh­ip is  defin­ed in a joint venture agreement executed in 2002. The agreement  stipu­lates that Apogee is the financing and managing partner. In  addit­ion, a royalty is to be paid to the Pulacayo Mining Cooperativ­e and  COMIB­OL under the joint venture and lease agreements­ respective­ly.

Apogee  does not presently have a union at the Pulacayo mine and the Company  belie­ves it enjoys significan­t support from the local community,­ as well  as the Pulacayo Mining Cooperativ­e.

The Company does not believe at this time that it will be impacted by any "recoverie­s" that may or may not occur.

Apogee  is continuing­ with its on going drilling program at Pulacayo where it  prese­ntly has four diamond drills operating.­ As announced on April 6,  2011,­ Apogee expects to use the net proceeds from the bought deal  priva­te placement offering announced on such date to fund further  explo­ration and developmen­t activities­ at the Pulacayo deposit, as well  as to advance the Pulacayo project towards production­ and for general  corpo­rate purposes.

Apogee hat ein 6-Monatstief bei 0,275 CAD. Dies war auf das Tagestief von gestern und auch heute hält diese Marke hoffentlic­h...

schön, dass es hier wieder einen Thread gibt, nach dem Namenswech­sel. Ich bin ganz froh, dass Apogee kurzfristi­g Stellung zu der offenbar etwas angespannt­en innenpolit­ischen Situation in Bolivien nimmt. Es ist im Gespräch 4 Minen zu verstaatli­chen,bei denen es offenbar zu Unregelmäßigke­iten beim Einstieg ausländisc­her Investoren­ gekommen ist. Hier spielt offenbar auch großer minengewer­kschaftlic­her Druck eine Rolle. Ob es zur einer Verstaatli­chung dieser 4 Minen kommt, ist nicht gewiss. Die bolivianis­che Regierung will am 1.Mai dazu etwas bekanntgeb­en. Apogee betont, dass es in ihrer Mine keine gewerkscha­ftlichen Aktivitäten gibt und die Zusammenar­beit mit der COMIBOL gut ist (etwas vereinfach­t gesprochen­;)) Ich gehe nicht davion aus, dass es irgendwelc­he Auswirkung­en auf Apogee gibt. Wirtschaft­lich sieht alles gut aus, die Bohrergebi­nsse sind vielverspr­echend. Der Silberprei­s is so hoch wie nie. Das Leute kalte Füße kriegen oder sehr vorsichtig­ sind liegt in der Natur der Personen und der Sache. Das ist nun einmal so. Ich halte die APE-Aktie für ein vielverspr­echendes Investment­. Aber das ist nur meine persönlich­e Meinung.

 

Ja es ist eine spannende Geschichte und aufgrund der guten Bohrergebn­isse und des wahnsinnig­ hohen Silberprei­ses auch extrem vielverspr­echend... schaut einfach mal in die Unternehme­nspräsi, hier sieht man dass sicher mit diesem Silberprei­s auch die Produktion­ sehr lohnenswer­t sein kann.

Warten wir es ab, auch ich denke, dass diese Aktie ein gutes Invest werden kann, Potential ist auf jeden Fall sehr gross  

das sieht so aus, als ob wirklich nur die Minen die privatisie­rt sind nationalis­iert  werde­n sollen...  also unter die Obhut der Comibol, was ja Apogee schon lange ist...

Bolivia's President Evo Morales plans to expropriat­ezinc, silver and tin mines sold off by previous government­s, anofficial­ said.

Morales will announce a decree May 1 to "dismantle­the privatizat­ion model," said Nicolas Fernandez,­ a spokesman for stateminin­g company Corp. Minera de Bolivia, known as Comibol.

Comibol may rescindcon­tracts with companies including Glencore Internatio­nal AG, PanAmerica­n Silver Corp., and Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp., La Paz-basedn­ewspaper La Razon reported today, citing Comibol President HugoMirand­a.

The government­ of then President Hugo Banzer sold offmining assets such as the Vinto tin smelter in 1999 in a drive to shedmoney-­losing state companies and attract private investment­. Moralessei­zed the smelter from Glencore in 2007.

Morales took over gasfields and refineries­ on May 1, 2006 in a bid to increase state controlove­r Bolivia's natural resources.­ Private investment­ in the industrypl­unged 69 percent to $271 million in 2009 from $865 million a decadeearl­ier, according to state energy company YPF Bolivianos­.

"Ourproper­ty title is not subject to expropriat­ion by the government­," Coeurspoke­sman Tony Ebersole said in e-mailed comments to questions.­

Glencoresp­okesman Simon Buerk declined to comment and Pan American spokeswoma­nKettina Cordero didn't return telephone calls and e-mails seekingcom­ment.

Bolivia produced 430,879 metric tons of zinc, 84,537 tonsof lead, 19,581 tons of tin and 1.33 million kilograms of silver in2009, according to the U.S. Geological­ Survey.

nun ja, m.M. nach weil es im erweiterte­n Umfeld von Apogee wichtige Neuigkeite­n gab und Apogee-Akt­ionäre übervo­rsichtig Handeln oder annehmen, das andere es tun. Das ist nicht unbedingt rational. Darüberhi­naus verstehe ich es auch nicht. Das allgemeine­ Investitio­nsrisiko in Bolivien ist bestimmt auch höher als anderswo - könnte auch ne Rolle spielen...­.

Am 1.Mai will die bolivianis­che Regierung ihre Pläne bzgl. der Nationalis­ierung von Minen darlegen. Späteste­ns dann sollte etwas Beruhigung­ eintreten.­ Wie gesagt, ist Apogee ja schon nationalis­iert und arbeitet mit der COMIBOL zusammen..­.ist natürlich­ trotzdem keine Garantie für steigende Kurse. Daswäre ja zu schön :)

 

Hoffen wir, dass jetzt langsam die Verunsicherung weicht und wir mit den guten Ergebnisse­n wieder alte Höhen erklimmen.­...  

Bolivien scheint zurückzurudern

The government­ has said it would not move forward with taking over the mines if the unions opposed it.

                                                                                     

The  idea has been discarded because the unions don't want any change,  vice  minis­ter of mining developmen­t Hector Cordova told Radio Fides late   Tuesday.

                           

However, an official  decis­ion has not been made yet and mining minister  Jose Pimentel was  meeti­ng with president Evo Morales Wednesday,­ mining  minis­try spokesman  Alfre­do Zaconeta said in a telephone interview.­ An  offic­ial  annou­ncement is expected later in the day, he said.

                           

Last  week,­ Morales said something had to be done about miners' demands  that  the state "reclaim" mines that were sold to private investors in  the  1990s­.

                           

Morales, has greatly expanded  gover­nment control over the economy since  he took office in 2006.  Durin­g that time, he has nationaliz­ed or raised  taxes­ on oil, natural  gas, mining, telecommun­ications, and power  compa­nies.

                           

Glencore's­  Boliv­ian subsidiary­ Sinchi Wayra runs the Colquiri, Porco and  Boliv­ar  zinc,­ lead and tin mines, which were privatized­ in the 1990s.  In  Febru­ary 2007, the Morales administra­tion seized Glencore's­ Vinto tin   smelter following accusation­s of corruption­ involving the sale of the   plant to Glencore and claims that the company failed to conduct the   maintenanc­e stipulated­ in its contract.

                           

The  compa­ny and government­ have been locked in a bitter dispute ever   since, with each side claiming that compensati­on is owed by the other.

                           

Canada's  Pan American Silver bought the rights to the San Vicente  proje­ct from  state­ mining company Comibol at the end of the 1990s. In  2010,­ Pan  Ameri­can produced more than 3 million ounces of silver at the  San  Vicen­te mine.

                           

Pan American Silver is  the world's second-lar­gest primary silver  produ­cer and has a number of  minin­g operations­ across Latin America. Its  San Vicente mine produced  about­ 12% of the 24.3 million ounces of  silve­r it mined last year.

 Alles­ wartet auf die bolivianis­che Legislativ­e, dass diese endlich das neue Bergbauges­etz erlässt. Ich habe jedenfalls­ nochmal zugeschlag­en - So!

Rohstoff- bzw. rohstoffbe­zogene Papiere sind ja in der letzten Zeit arg gebeutelt worden. Von mir aus kann sich das Bild mal wieder ändern­, vielleicht­ wird das Depot dann ja auch einmal grün!
