silverado gold - risk + fun
hab mir gedacht, es ist mal an der zeit, einen neuen thread aufzumachen.
silverado gold mines (slglf) -867737- ist mal wieder an einem entscheidenden punkt angelangt-
darüber wurde schon viel geschrieben und diskutiert- ich hab zwar keine neuen erkenntnisse, möchte aber mal das mir bekannte zusammenfassen, da es inzwischen ziemlich mühsam und zeitaufwendig ist,sich durch den thread von grazer zu klicken.
seit der bekanntgabe, daß sie wieder nach gold schürfen, ist der kurs im herbst 05 von 0,038$ anfänglich auf über 0,06$ gesprungen, um dann ende januar 06 auf 0,21$ zu klettern. inzwischen steht die aktie wieder knapp über 0,06$.
für silverado-
- sie fördern gold und haben neue, große vorkommen gefunden - nachdem der aufbau der logistik nun abgeschlossen ist, müßte die fördermenge in 06/07 stark steigen-
- mit ihrem green-fuel-programm waren sie (mit anderen firmen) bei einer änhörung vor dem us-government-
- für ende august, anfang september wurde von gary anselmo (slglf-ceo) dazu eine gute nachricht angekündigt, sollte slglf wirklich den zuschlag zum bau einer probeanlage bekommen, wird sich der kurs vervielfachen und auch langfristig gesehen, durch den bedarf an sauberer und bezahlbarer energie, immer weiter steigen-
- die aktie scheint an einer ziemlich stabilen unterstützung angelangt zu sein-

Today’s market value using the fully diluted share count of 532 million* is about $62
million.
*This number includes 94 million options and warrants, most of which are exercisable for
several years at $.05/share (meaning they are extremely likely to be exercised even if the
share price remains stagnant).
From the above we can see that the share count was diluted by a factor of about 27 in the
period 20002006,
and that at the same time the market value of Silverado grew by a
factor of about 17.
I must stress that these numbers concern me.
However, if we realize that in the year 2000 the Green Fuel division of Silverado was just
launched, gold was under $300/ounce, and oil was under $20/barrel, it becomes
somewhat more acceptable to expect the market value of the company to increase by such
a large multiple. Remember also that Silverado Gold in the year 2000 seemed to be
significantly undervalued (like so many other junior companies at the time), having a
market capitalization of just $3.5 million.
With significant revenues from Silverado’s Nolan Gold Project expected to be realized in
the second half of this year as the gold nuggets are washed, and the expectation that
government funding will soon be realized, the value of this company could easily go
‘exponential’ once again. Hopefully the revenues from the increased gold operations will
be significant enough to avoid more significant dilution in the future. If dilution can be
avoided, then the increase in market value will actually be reflected in the share price,
imagine that!
But if dilution continues and the $20 million funding for the demonstration plant
becomes a long and tortuous waiting game, then I think it is reasonable to expect that
Silverado’s share price will slip back into the $.04$.
05/share trading range for however
long it takes, a 60% retrenchment from these levels.
Please realize that I am not invested in Silverado for its gold potential. I believe there are
much better opportunities out there for gold explorers. Progress on the green fuel project
is what I am interested in seeing. Any news related to significant gold discovery is just
icing on the cake, and will hopefully generate further interest in this company from the on
looking investment community as the green fuel project progresses.
A Naked Shorts Paradise?
It is estimated that there may be as many as 1 billion shares short on Silverado stock, a
result of the long bear market and a well disciplined attempt by the market makers to
bankrupt this company. This means that downward pressure in the past will become
rocket power in the future if positive developments are in the cards.
In short: keep your eyes peeled on Silverado in the coming months, but as always, don’t
bet the farm.

The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the State of Mississippi as represented by the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA); Choctaw County Board of Supervisors; and the Choctaw County Economic Development District to build a facility designed to demonstrate the economic feasibility and environmental superiority of converting low-rank coals into a stable liquid fuel that can be used efficiently, while also defining exact parameters for a commercial facility.
“This project is a key step toward full commercial production of green fuel and the culmination of our work over the past six years to develop advanced, efficient and cleaner coal technologies,” said Silverado Green Fuel Inc. CEO Garry L. Anselmo. “We are pleased to have worked with the state of Mississippi and Choctaw County officials since July of 2005 to make this facility a reality. We look forward to further strengthening our relationship with a state that is paving the way to energy independence by taking advantage of America’s vast coal resources as an alternative fuel source and supporting new technologies designed to economically utilize those resources.”
Under the terms of the agreement, Choctaw County Economic Development District will provide Silverado Green Fuel Inc. a 14 acre site at their Ecoplex. Choctaw County will clear the site in preparation for construction. The County has also agreed to construct the facility building based on Silverado’s specifications. The State, through MDA will provide for the infrastructure through a series of grants.
Silverado Green Fuel Inc. will provide the proprietary technology developed by Dr. Warrack Willson, Vice President of Silverado’s Fuel Technology Division. Silverado will run the facility, which is expected to produce 45 permanent jobs and hundreds of additional jobs during the construction phase. Once this two year phase is complete, Silverado will be producing 110,000 barrels of Green Fuel per year.

Nearly half of the world’s coal reserves are in the United States. Fully half of those reserves are low-rank coal --- coal that has high-water and low-energy levels. Low-Rank Coals are a relatively untapped resource in America. Silverado’s new technology will allow for the conversion of this coal into Green Fuel. Silverado projects the cost to produce Green Fuel on a barrel-of-oil-equivalent basis at $15 per barrel.
Locally mined lignite coal will be treated through a hydrothermal process at the facility and converted into liquid Green Fuel that can be used efficiently in oil-designed boilers, integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) power plants, and other advanced combustors. Green Fuel has a higher energy content than the original coal, but retains the desirable low rank coal combustion characteristics needed for boilers and advanced combustion and gasification systems.
Silverado’s Green Fuel is an ideal candidate for use in the processes of Texaco (now G.E.) ‘Gasification’ and Fischer Tropsch ‘Liquefaction’ which creates the feed stock for the production of low-cost fuels and products which are free of carbon dioxide, sulfur, particulate matter, and heavy metals. During the fall period of Silverado’s 2006 exploration program, the company carried out a total of 920 feet of backhoe trenching to investigate gold bearing antimony-quartz vein systems ( Au - Sb - Qtz ) in an area north of Smith Creek ( Visit this link to view map: http://www.silverado.com/nolancreek2006 ). This area is part of the Solomon Shear, a five mile long gold bearing shear zone, which appears from all information gathered to date to be part of the source area of placer gold in the Nolan valley (see press releases from August 04, 2006 and October 30, 2006).
Trenching successfully identified three zones that contain antimony-gold-quartz veins ( See Fig. 1 – http://www.silverado.com/january222007/figure1.htm ). The “main zone” containing 16 veins has a width of 190 feet (60m). The widths of the Au – Sb - Qtz veins vary from a quarter inch to seven inches. Spacing of veins also varies, from a quarter inch to several feet. Note on the Figure 2 pictures,
( http://www.silverado.com/january222007/figure2.htm ) the effect of weathering on the gold as it erodes or weathers out of the veins over the thousands of years, thereby changing from crystalline gold with distinct edges and sharp features, to become rounded gold nuggets ( lode gold to placer gold ).
A total of 71 combined chip and channel rock samples were collected during the trenching program and submitted to ALS Chemex in Fairbanks for analysis. Out of these 71 samples, 32 show values higher than 0.01 ounces of gold per ton ( opt ) and range from 0.01 opt to 0.83 opt. ( see Table 1 below ). These results confirm that high-grade lode gold mineralized quartz veins exist in the Solomon Shear Zone.
In addition to the gold values, 23 of the 71 trench samples show antimony values higher than 0.1%, and ranging from 0.1% Sb to more than 5% Sb. A total of 12 samples show antimony values higher than 5%. This high grade antimony is a valuable product along with gold on this property. Preliminary metallurgical tests on Nolan antimony showed combined lead and arsenic present in amounts less than 0.1%. This constitutes some of the purest antimony in existence and would command premium prices. Currently antimony sells at $US 2.56 per pound. Assays greater than 5% ( laboratory detection limit ) are being re-assayed for total antimony. Final grades will be used to ascertain the combined gold /antimony value per ton of this important discovery.
One RC drill hole (06SH01) was drilled to check for down-dip continuity of the Au - Sb - Qtz veins of the “main zone” (Fig. 1 - http://www.silverado.com/january222007/figure1.htm ). The assay results will be released as soon they become available.

During the fall period of Silverado’s 2006 exploration program, the company carried out a total of 920 feet of backhoe trenching to investigate gold bearing antimony-quartz vein systems ( Au - Sb - Qtz ) in an area north of Smith Creek ( Visit this link to view map: http://www.silverado.com/nolancreek2006 ). This area is part of the Solomon Shear, a five mile long gold bearing shear zone, which appears from all information gathered to date to be part of the source area of placer gold in the Nolan valley (see press releases from August 04, 2006 and October 30, 2006).
Trenching successfully identified three zones that contain antimony-gold-quartz veins ( See Fig. 1 – http://www.silverado.com/january222007/figure1.htm ). The “main zone” containing 16 veins has a width of 190 feet (60m). The widths of the Au – Sb - Qtz veins vary from a quarter inch to seven inches. Spacing of veins also varies, from a quarter inch to several feet. Note on the Figure 2 pictures,
( http://www.silverado.com/january222007/figure2.htm ) the effect of weathering on the gold as it erodes or weathers out of the veins over the thousands of years, thereby changing from crystalline gold with distinct edges and sharp features, to become rounded gold nuggets ( lode gold to placer gold ).
A total of 71 combined chip and channel rock samples were collected during the trenching program and submitted to ALS Chemex in Fairbanks for analysis. Out of these 71 samples, 32 show values higher than 0.01 ounces of gold per ton ( opt ) and range from 0.01 opt to 0.83 opt. ( see Table 1 below ). mal ein update :-)
Wer sich mit Silverado Gold beschäftigt weiß, da geht`s ziemlich rauf und runter, wie aus den Langfristcharts zu ersehen ist.
Nach jahrelangen Bemühungen scheint jetzt die Zeit gekommen, daß die Pläne von slglf
bezüglich Green-Fuel umsetztbar sind.
Erstmalige sind mit dem Ground-Breaking für die Versuchsanlage konkrete Schritte
unternommen worden - an dem Tag erreichte der Kurs sein diesjähriges Hoch bei
0,16 $ und einer MK von ca. 100mio. $.
Die anschließende Talfahrt kann einerseits mit Gewinnmitnahmen, andererseits mit
der Ausgabe neuer Aktien zusammen hängen.
Silverado braucht Geld, das ist klar, jedoch bleibt die Frage -
wie wird sich das Verhältnis Kurs zu MK bei weiterer Aktienausgabe gestalten?
Meiner Ansicht nach beginnt für slglf mit Umsetzung der Testanlage ein völlig
neuer Abschnitt. Geprägt von viel Unsicherheit aber auch Erwartungen ist jedoch
ein kontinuierlicher Anstieg der MK zu bemerken.
Mit anderen Worten - diese Firma hat Potenzial, welches auch von Seiten der Anleger wahrgenommen wird. Eine bestimmte MK wird nicht mehr unterschritten, auch wenn durch
neue Aktien der Kurs "verwässert" und sinkt.
Mit fortschreitender Realisierung der Testfabrik wird sich das Interesse weiter
auf slglf richten - und der Markt könnte sogar neue Aktien aufnehmen und der Kurs trotzdem steigen.

Green-Fuel-Programm sind die Zukunftsaussichten von slglf besser denn je.

Trifft im übrigen auf Silverado momentan garnicht zu.
Steht eine US-Gesellschaft nach dem sogenannten Chapter 11 erst einmal unter Insolvenzrecht, wird es für die Gläubiger schwierig, ihr Geld zu bekommen. Anders als hierzulande gilt die Insolvenz in den USA nicht als letzter Akt im Leben eines Unternehmens. Statt abgewickelt zu werden, arbeiten Betriebe teils jahrelang unter dem Schutz des Chapter 11. Denn dieses schottet die ins Trudeln geratene Firma weitestgehend vor einem Zugriff von Außen ab. Das bringt Zeit, das Unternehmen wieder auf Kurs zu bringen.
Chapter 11 hat jedoch nicht nur Vorteile. Die insolventen Unternehmen müssen sich gefallen lassen, dass sie gläsern für die Außenwelt werden. Alle Entscheidungen und Verträge werden vom zuständigen Gericht veröffentlicht. Zudem kostet die Insolvenz Geld und Einfluss. Konkursverwalter und sonstige Berater müssen vom Unternehmen bezahlt werden und haben ein weitreichendes Mitspracherecht in der Firmenleitung.
Wer glaubt, Anselmo läßt sich so einen vor die Nase setzten, spinnt.
Im Übriglen ist oben gesgtes nur informatorisch was Chapter 11 betrifft.
So etwas steht z.zt. überhaupt nicht auf dem Programm.
Im Goldbereich wäre das evtl. seit Jahren möglich gewesen.

beim Groundbreaking feudale Reden und stimmt nachher einem Insolvenzantrag zu.
So`n Schmarren kann auch nur hier geschrieben werden.

keiner wollte auf mich hören , jetzt machst sich 3 Monate Investmenterfahrung ( reicht eben nicht ) und Hoffnung aus überschwenglichen Postings bezhalt... nämlich rächt sich bitter.

zeitig genug in einen Wert einzusteigen und auch mal Gewinne mitzunehmen wenn ein Wert mehr als 100% gelaufen ist, heisst das nicht das auch kein anderer dazu in der Lage ist.
Selbst wer zu 0,07 € eingestiegen ist und vielleicht mal mit der Hälfte zu 0,105 raus ist, konnte 50% realisieren und hat jetzt einen Top-Schnitt im EK gemacht.
Wenn man natürlich, wie du, bei den Wellenbewegungen ganz oben einsteigt und unten wieder aussteigt...
...das frustet schon ...
