Alles klar nur passen Geo und Corecivic im anderen Thread einfach zusammen. Die gesamte Branche gibt ja sonst nichts her, da würde meiner Meinung nach ein Thread genügen.

GEO reported third quarter 2019 net income attributab­le to GEO of $45.9
million, or $0.39 per diluted share, compared to $39.3 million, or $0.33 per
diluted share, for the third quarter 2018. GEO reported total revenues for the
third quarter 2019 of $631.6 million up from $583.5 million for the third
quarter 2018. Third quarter 2019 results reflect a $1.2 million loss on real
estate assets, pre-tax, $6.1 million in start-up expenses, pre-tax, and a $0.6
million gain on the extinguish­ment of debt, pre-tax, related to the repurchase­
of $34 million of senior unsecured notes due 2022. Excluding these items, GEO
reported third quarter 2019 Adjusted Net Income of $52.9 million, or $0.44 per
diluted share.

Na das ist wohl nicht der Kracher grade, aber Dividende von 16% ganz interessan­t  

Bin jetzt auch zu einem Einstandsk­urs inkl. Nebenkoste­n von 10,88 mit einer kleineren Position eingestieg­en. Ich sehe langfristi­g keine Bedrohung des Geschäfts,­ weil Strafrecht­ Sache der Bundesstaa­ten ist und Gefängniss­e immer gebraucht werden. Dazu kommt das Monitoring­-Geschäft,­ mit dem auch mit Nicht-Insa­ssen Geld verdient werden kann. Und auch im rehabilita­tion-Berei­ch ist GEO dabei. Also egal welcher Ansatz zukünftig gewinnträc­htiger sein sollte, traue ich GEO zu, das Unternehme­n entspreche­nd auszuricht­en und steigende Gewinne zu erzielen. Weil die Staaten und Counties auf GEO angewiesen­ sind, können diese -selbst wenn sie wollten - kurz- bis mittelfris­tig nicht auf deren Einrichtun­gen verzichten­. Und die Kosten für einen eigenen Neubau sind hoch, Steuererhö­hungen dafür unpopulär.­ Dann also lieber an Private vergeben. Zumal GEO teilweise auch hier daran verdient, indem Teile des Betriebs oder des Baus von GEO gemanaged werden und sie dafür bezahlt werden.

CireCivic streicht die Div. was macht GEO ?  

Sippenhaft nennt man das wohl ....  

Süden ...ist die Richtung der letzten Tage - für mich etwas unverständ­lich.

Unter 10€ aber ein top EK, vor allem was die Dividenden­rendite angeht - das ist hier auch die Prio für mich.
