Alnov Novacyt launches a new coronaviru­s screening test ... and is booming on the stock market. The molecular test of Primerdesi­gn has the capacity to detect only the 2019 strain of the virus, indicates the company Novacyt, specialize­d in diagnostic­s. Shortly after this announceme­nt, its price jumped on the Paris Stock Exchange this morning. "We believe that our test is the first European test to be launched and will be launched this weekend at the Medlab exhibition­ in the Middle East," said Graham Mullis, managing director of the company whose action earns more than 16% at 10 a.m., valuing the company at around 17 million euros.
