Johnson Controls: Gewinn im dritten Quartal um 11 Prozent gestiegen, Jahresplanung gesenkt

Milwaukee (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die amerikanische Johnson Controls Inc. (Profil), ein Spezialist für Innenraumkomfort, Gebäudeeffizienz und Energielösungen, meldete am Donnerstag, dass ihr Gewinn im dritten Quartal um 11 Prozent gestiegen ist, was mit einem Wachstum in sämtlichen Geschäftsbereichen zusammenhängt. Die Jahresplanung wurde indes gesenkt.
Der Nettogewinn betrug demnach 439 Mio. Dollar bzw. 73 Cents pro Aktie, im Vergleich zu 396 Mio. Dollar bzw. 66 Cents pro Aktie im Vorjahr. Der Gewinn aus dem laufenden Geschäft lag ebenfalls bei 73 Cents pro Aktie. Der Umsatz nahm um 10,7 Prozent auf 9,87 Mrd. Dollar zu.
Analysten waren im Vorfeld von einem Gewinn von 73 Cents und einem Umsatz von 9,84 Mrd. Dollar ausgegangen. Für das laufende Quartal prognostizieren sie ein EPS-Ergebnis von 84 Cents bei Erlösen von 9,94 Mrd. Dollar, während Johnson Controls selbst einen Gewinn pro Aktie von 72 bis 74 Cents erwartet.
Für das Gesamtjahr rechnet der Konzern nun mit einem EPS-Ergebnis von 2,32 bis 2,34 Dollar (zuvor: 2,45 bis 2,50 Dollar). Die durchschnittliche Marktschätzung sieht hier einen Wert von 2,42 Dollar vor.
Die Aktie von Johnson Controls beendete den Handel gestern an der NYSE bei 29,61 Dollar. (17.07.2008/ac/n/a)
