Ob der Ausbruch nachhaltig ist? Heute hat Filenet auf einer Konferenz präsentiert. So ganz schlecht scheint das vorgelegte Material nicht gewesen zu sein.

It was all over the news a while back that it is evident that FBI and CIA need a better
way to manage their documents.
Supposedly, important documents where being ignored, because of an ineficient
document management system (too lazy to include news refs now)
Has their been any speculation that the gov is planning to spend a lot of money on
this? Wasn't filenet that had a contract with the gov. of Kuwait a couple of years ago?
They already have experience handling documents in the arabic language and that
would make them pretty good candidates.
Does anyone know how the security level of filenet's products fare against maximum
security requirements?
Wie schon in einem anderen Thread erwähnt, haben die US-Sicherheitsdienste einen riesiegen Etat (1,5* Verteidigungsetat Deutschlands). So abwegig scheint die Spekulation nicht zu sein, dass sich Filenet ein schönes Stück vom Kuchen abschneiden kann, wenn deren System wirklich bei CIA und FBI eingesetzt werden sollte.
Der Kursverlauf ist jedenfalls erstaunlich für eine Firma, die erst nächstes Jahr schwarze Zahlen schreiben will.
